The Tally Bridge is a small fanless device that watches one or more tally sources and shows program, preview, and ISO state in real time on a web UI any device on the LAN can open. No vendor app to install, no per-seat licensing, no software pinned to a specific operating system.

## What it actually does

* Reads tally state from Blackmagic ATEM switchers, TSL UMD streams, or vMix, in any combination
* Pushes updates to connected browsers in real time, with a feel that keeps up with live cuts
* Shows program, preview, and per-source state on a card-based grid that scales from a phone to a large monitor in the back of the room
* Drives Canon XC PTZ camera tally lamps directly over the network, so the talent sees red without extra wiring
* Runs in light and dark themes; the dark theme is what most operators leave it on
* Identifies inputs by name once you label them on the switcher, so the cards say "Pulpit" or "Drum cam" instead of just numbers

## Why a bridge

A modern production pulls tally from several places: a switcher, a graphics box, a recording rig, sometimes all three. Stitching that together into a single, glanceable display is the kind of work nobody wants to do twice. The Tally Bridge does it once, well, and keeps doing it across services, restarts, and network blips.

## What you avoid

* Per-seat tally software licensed by camera count
* A laptop running a "tally server" that nobody can reboot during a service
* Custom wiring for tally lamps to PTZ cameras
* A web UI that only works in one browser
